Welcome to Kisharon Noé School!

I am Harris Lorie, Chair of Trustees of the School and I am delighted that you’ve taken the time to find out more about our community and our school. Kisharon Noé School is the UKs first Special Jewish-Faith Free School.

Kisharon School was founded in 1976 as a school for those with learning disabilities in the Jewish Community by an inspirational leader, Chava Lehman. Kisharon means talent in Hebrew, and it is the belief that we can find the talent in every student that has driven the Kisharon ethos ever since. Kisharon Noé School has always believed in and delivered a “person centred” education to our students.

The school has been on a rapid journey of growth over the last few years. In 2018 we were granted Free School status by the Department for Education. Thanks to the generosity of the trustees and donors of Kisharon, we began our project to build a new state-of-the-art campus in Parson Street, Hendon, NW4 with the best facilities and IT solutions for our special students.

In September 2020 our vision became reality. With a hydrotherapy pool, sensory rooms, rebound therapy and disability friendly indoor and outdoor play areas. We are very proud of our team of staff therapists who help the teaching staff to make the very best of these specialist areas.

The Trustees of the School have a wide range of areas of expertise including finance, education, premises management, health and safety as well as those with medical and SEND Local Authority experience. We work closely with the Head Teacher and Senior Leadership Team of the School helping them to inform the future strategy and direction of the School. Please click here for details about our trustees.

We are so lucky to work with such a professional and team and we share their passion to make Kisharon Noé School a beacon for the SEND community, infused with the love and Jewish ethos of which we are all so proud.
