Teaching Assistant

Salary – £18,000-£19,000

We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and commited individuals who can work well under pressure and are passionate about empowering children with Special Educational Needs to become Teaching Assistants at Kisharon Noé School.

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of specialist teaching staff.  Responsibilities will include:

  • undertaking classroom and school wide work
  • providing care and enabling access to learning for all pupils
  • carrying out pupils teaching and therapy programmes
  • assisting the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom
  • Contributing to whole school enrichment

Occupational Therapist position

Salary –NHS Band 6 (£31,365 – £37,890 + Outer London supplement)

Full Time – term time only + 3 weeks, Permanent

We are seeking to appoint for the role of Occupational Therapist. Our therapeutic professionals are a crucial part of what we offer. To undertake this position successfully you will have:

  • Membership of the Health & Care Professional Council
  • 2 full years working as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist in a specialist setting and used both informal and formal standardised assessments.

Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist – High Level advisory role

Salary –NHS Band 6 + Outer London supplement

Part Time – term time only, part time, Permanent

Start date–ASAP

We are seeking a highly experienced SALT to deliver therapy to students as well as work together with the therapy lead to help maintain the excellent therapist provision across the school. We believe in a team approach and expects therapists to work based on a child’s needs, including class based, individual and small group sessions where necessary. We are seeking a highly experienced SALT to offer an advisory role to work with the Therapist Manager to help maintain the excellent therapist provision across the school.

You will be part of a welcoming and supportive team, with access to Kisharon Noé School’s staff well-being package.

Physiotherapist

Salary –NHS Band 5 + Outer London supplement

Full time (39 hours a week) – term time only (+ 2 weeks), part time, Permanent

Start date–ASAP

This is very much a clinical post, so is ideal for candidate seeking opportunities to develop their hands on treatment and assessment skills within field of neurodevelopmental paediatrics. You will work under the direction of our Lead Physiotherapist and be part of our in house multi-disciplinary therapy team. Our pupils are between 4 and 19 years of age and present with a range of physical, sensory, postural, gross motor, developmental, mobility and learning needs.

They have a variety of conditions including cerebral palsy, developmental delay, Downs syndrome, autism and profound motor learning difficulties. Treatment facilities within school include a designated physiotherapy treatment room, hydrotherapy pool, sensory room and suspended equipment. School has ongoing programme of in service training. This post is 39 clinical hours a week during school 39 week term, plus an additional 2 weeks non clinical during school holidays. You will be based at Kisharon Noe School. You must have at least one year post graduate physiotherapy experience in the work place and have demonstrable interest in working with young people. Salary in line with NHS Pay Scales.
